If the name "Surmeli's Känguruh" looks like a new species that's just what it is.

However you are unlikely to find this marsupial boxing around the bush or staring into Antipodean headlights - she's far too smart a roo and has better things to do.

In fact, as her name ("Kaenguruh" is German for... guess what?) suggests, she is very wise and gentle, and a great help to her fellow creatures.
