It looks like someone has been very busy here too, landscaping the landscape, planting small trees, bushes and flowers on these splendid drystone terraces.
Right now it is the middle of August, the driest time of the year around here, so things are bound to look a little parched. I imagine it looks quite different in May. Another world.
