The outer entrance to the enclosure (or fortress) of the acropolis, just to the south of the section of wall in the previous photo, and immediately north of the circular tower. You can't miss it, really.
Whoever planned the visitor access for the archaeological site has done an excellent job in making it accessible, comprehensible and easy to explore. Things have been kept as simple and natural as possible, and it's a real pleasure to walk around.
However, the terrain is very difficult, with rough ground, steep slopes, wooden stairs (like those in this photo) and paths which get overgrown very quickly. This makes the site a real challenge for disabled people. Wheelchair users may find it easier to enter the site by the northwest entrance, from where they can access the agora, which is definitely worth seeing.
