|Mandraki harbour from the Knights' Castle.
|Just to the left of the centre of the photo is the islet of Agios Georgos (Άγιος Γεώργιος), on which is the chapel of Agios Georgos tou Nissiou (Saint George of the Island), a couple of trees and a small beach. The islet immediately to its left is Kalikantzaraki. (See the map on Kastellorizo page 9.)
On the small peninsula (centre right of the photo) is the church of Agios Savvas (Saint Savvas) and the island's cemetery, in which are also graves of French soldiers killed during World War I and other foreigners.
The ship in the harbour is either a water or oil tanker.
